Resurrection

Okay...there is too much to apologize for. I honestly forgot that I had set this blog up until some family in Australia started talking about it (Hey Sherry!! Hey Milton!! Luv ya)

As of September of 2007, I am a senior. This means that come June I will be graduating. (YAY) Until then, I must keep working hard. The EMT Program has also kicked up a notch. We are now being taught by the state curriculum which requires 3 hours of lecturing. On Monday and Wednesday (and sometimes other days) we must be at school early to hear the lectures and practice. In June we take the practical exam. My biggest fear here is forgetting. And I don't mean forgetting EVERYTHING, I mean forgetting that one small step that just happened to be a Critical and *phlibbit* there goes everything. It sounds ridiculous, but these are the things that plague me.

Other than that, nothing else has changed. Although I have been writing some stuff and making some new friends (Hey Z! Hiya Boss) My latest obsession has been Tin Man, if you didn't see it no worries, March 11th it will be out on DVD. I'll try and post some of our latest pictures (from school and outside of school) later on.

Career Fair 2007

The career fair is where each major gets to show off what they got. Of course, Health was the best major there. We had nursing, vision technology, billing and coding and *BEST* of all EMT. Our EMT class showed off rapid extrication, the Hemlich manuever and CPR (we got to use the oxygen tanks for that one). We stole the show (what else did u xpect...??) Of course, was heated with us, but when they get out of college in 50 years, us EMTs will be there helping 'em out.

EMT Games

June 8th..That's my latest countdown date. On June 8th we go to the EMT Games to compete with Brooklyn and Queens. I am very nervous. I made it to the College Bowl team....we get to play EMT Jeporady. I'm really worried about our Tech Bag Relay Race. Our team is kinda slow...well not all of em....just the Juniors. I hope they can pick it up before June. I think our biggest challenge is Queens, they'll b official EMTs by time we get to the games. I think we can take em, we just gotta try a lil harder.

Bring on the Black Suit!!

Ok....call me a geek....but I was one of the few people i know who manage to get tickets on Friday, May 4th to see Spiderman 3. The movie was awesome. Some people were like "Oh, the second one was better" I can't honestly say i agree with them. I really liked the idea of Spiderman taking on 3 villains and deal with his own issues at the same time. The suit bought out a whole new "emo" side of him, with the hair and the eyes, even that goofy walk. The effects were great. Even the grains of sand on the sandman were great. Venom looked exactly the way he did in the comics. I think the issues that he had with Mary Jane got a bit soap opera (or novela) like...but even to some extent that was good too.

I recommend it for all....
